Why don’t I see the Compare Price button on every site?
PartScout only adds features on supported retailer sites. We’re expanding coverage over time—see Supported Sites for the current list.
Does PartScout work for both OEM and aftermarket parts?
Yes. On supported sites, PartScout searches across both OEM suppliers and aftermarket sellers simultaneously. You can filter results in the side panel to show only OEM parts, only aftermarket, or both — so you can weigh the price difference and decide what's right for your repair.
Can I use PartScout to find appliance parts?
Yes. PartScout supports leading appliance parts retailers, including RepairClinic, PartSelect, Appliance Parts Pros, Encompass, Sears PartsDirect, and eReplacementParts. If you're looking at a part on any supported site, PartScout will detect the part number and automatically compare prices across other sites.
Can I use PartScout to find small engine parts?
Yes. PartScout supports small engine parts retailers, including Jack's Small Engines, PartsTree, RepairClinic, and PartSelect. See the full list in the Supported Sites section — we're adding more retailers over time.
Does PartScout change the price I pay?
